Catering specialists are the all-rounders in the field of gastronomy. They work in the kitchen as well as in the service. In the kitchen, they are responsible for preparing a wide variety of dishes. In the service area, they receive and serve guests, prepare food and beverage menus, decorate tables and handle billing. In the entire occupational field of tourism, teamwork is the order of the day. Depending on the type and size of the business (pub, restaurant, café, bar, hotel, catering company), catering specialists work together with skilled and unskilled workers in the catering industry (e.g. restaurant specialists, cooks, hotel and catering assistants and kitchen assistants).

Kitchen:

• the processing of high-quality products from regional origin to culinary highlights
• the performance of all preparatory work
• organizational tasks to support our kitchen team
• the regular check of the stock levels
• compliance with quality standards and hygiene guidelines

Service:

• In the service area, they receive and serve our guests, prepare food and beverage menus, decorate the tables and handle the billing.

Remuneration:

1st year of apprenticeship € 800,-- apprentice compensation

2nd year of apprenticeship € 900,-- apprentice compensation

3rd year of apprenticeship € 1000,-- apprentice compensation

4th year of apprenticeship € 1100,-- apprentice compensation
